How I became a jam tart...

My husband had a dream of having fruit orchards. He is a man of action and so now we have one of the largest fruit orchards in Saskatchewan and we custom harvest for many fruit growers in the Saskatoon area.

What to do with all that fruit?

So I started experimenting.

We now make fruit juice, fruit infused honey, jams and jellies, pie fillings, and fruit candies.

But I love making jam.

I love reading recipe books on canning and preserving and scouring the internet for ideas and combinations of fruits and spices and other concoctions and foods that can be preserved. This blog is all about those concoctions.

I make all of our preserves in our renovated 100 year old church, located in the midst of our fruit orchards - perfect inspiration for jam making!
